Set your windows resolution to 1280 x 720 and boot bf1942, it should launch without issue, once you get into the game the settings you have changed (highlighted above) will take effect and the game will be displayed in the resolution you have set. If the above doesnt work there is a simple work around that I know works (I have windows 7 64 bit as well) Just can't appear to get it running, and I'm only dying for a game! (It's free on origin gaming btw for anyone who wants to download it and play it again). I seem to have come upon a problem trying to get Battlefield 1942 running on Windows 7 64bit, on 1920x1080 resolution.
